A.k.a. Why we don’t do social media.
The short version of this post is simple - we’re here to bring equality to work. We want to make workplaces, schools, offices and buildings all around Australia friendlier for women. What we don’t want to be is an advertising, content or media company. That’s not our thing.
We’d rather spend our time sourcing the most eco-friendly products we can, getting them to your work as cheaply as possible so that your employer can keep providing high quality menstrual products for all their staff.
Maybe this is crazy?
Most business advisers, magazines and blogs will suggest that the best way to get the word out about your business is to actively use social media. That’s the world we live in. It’s how business works, just not our business.
If we’re going to be called crazy for trying to bring free pads and tampons to women everywhere, we might as well get the same label for our social media approach too.
We don’t do one-size-fits-all
Getting to know you is important to us.
This is why Pixii does not spend time and energy on creating content on social media. It’s not a good use of our time. It’s not a good addition to your day. We’re happy to talk with you on LinkedIn, Facebook, or wherever else you want to talk. We’ll even happily meet you in your favourite coffee shop if you’d prefer!
Therefore, do not be surprised that you will find our social media pages rather empty.
It’s simple: we are prioritising providing top-quality, eco-friendly organic tampons to progressive organisations around the country and bringing equality to work. We are extremely good at that, so that is where we focus our attention.
We do, however, love to chat. Aside from your favourite coffee shop (name the place, quote this article and the bill’s on us!) we can also be reached via:
