What does Pixii do?

We provide tampons and pads in workplaces, schools, offices, shopping centres, warehouses… you name it! Our mission is to bring equality to work, and people work at all these places. We believe the women everywhere should not have to worry about getting caught out without period products. We would like to see the norm in society change so that a woman can go into any bathroom and find the tampons and pads she needs, when she needs them. Discretely and reliably.

How does it work?

We supply Australia’s most eco-friendly tampons and pads (sustainably made, 100% organic cotton and no plastic packaging). We supply either simple display boxes, or our custom slimline discrete dispenser.

Your workplace can then either just re-order pads and tampons as needed, or sign up to our subscription offer where your restock needs will be shipped to you automatically when it’s needed so no woman gets caught out.

Pixii will also handle the legal nitty-gritty of supplying tampons safely and in a compliant manner, ensuring batch numbering and TSS compliance with the Therapeutic Goods Administration requirements.

The employer, school or landlord pays for it. Staff get the basic hygiene supplies they need, for free. Plus Pixii donates 50% of all profits to empowering women.

Are the tampons and pads good?

So good. We source only 100% pure organic cotton tampons - no dyes, no chemicals and no plastic - not even in the wrapper!

What about outside of the office/school?

Pixii products are available in many venues - bars, cafes, hotels, community centres, libraries and more. For the moment, we don’t sell period products to individuals though - there are plenty of socially and environmentally conscious brands already doing great work in making good products available to you at the supermarket, so we’re focused on making them freely available everywhere else.

How does installation work?

It’s simple. Our removable display box is shelf or bench ready, no fixation required. Our custom dispensers attach securely to the wall, in the bathroom or in the cubicle (right where the product is needed and where it is most discrete). All fixtures are included. In 85%+ of sites the dispensers can be attached with pre-applied doubled sided tape and/or a silicone adhesive so you don’t need to drill anything.

Neither option requires coins or maintenance of any kind, and your company can choose to restock yourselves or we can work with your cleaning team or building manager to handle it for you.

What’s the cost?

Prices will vary by site location and requirements, but most venues can support all their female staff for around $1-3 per woman per month. Please contact us for an exact quote.

What if we run out of tampons / pads?

Just let us know! We’re accessible via phone, chat and email, about 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.

When we receive an order we’ll jump right on our speedy horses (not really - Pixii employs only humans and robots) and get your refill packs to you ASAP!

How does restocking work?

We ship you more pads and tampons whenever you need them, in packs ready to slide right into the dispensers. Your building’s existing cleaning team can restock a dispenser in under 45 seconds, and they only need restocking every 2-3 weeks in most sites. Just take the old pack out, put in the new one, and tear away the front panel - easy, quick and there’s no handling of the individual products so it’s also hygienic!
