About Pixii

Who we are

Hi.

I’m Nina. Pixii is my family business founded in 2019 in Sydney, Australia.

We are a small team with big goals to improve the way workplaces approach gender equality and support their female staff.

The acceptance of the basic inequality around hygiene supplies starts from when we’re very young. That’s why we’re also improving the approach to gender equality and supporting girls with period products in schools.

We strive for the way things should be.

A world where all humans are treated equally.

No one should be disadvantaged because of their sex, religion, race or sexuality.

To bring complete equality to work

Everyone should have their natural hygiene needs met, regardless of their gender.

Why we started Pixii

In 2019 I attended a business conference with about 3000 other women. There was a quick poll which asked:

"How many of you have been caught out by your period at work?"

Every woman raised their hand.

I thought it was just me having had this problem. It is not, and that’s not ok.

Pixii was born that day. My co-founder and I agreed to fix this situation, to make sure women at work can focus on work and not need to sweat the little things.

We agreed to bring about equality at work. And to do this sustainably, to give back, and to always strive for the way things should be.
